David Ross Macdonald – 26 May

David Ross Macdonald – 26 May

Ok folks,it’s cooling down and what a better way than to spend a cosy Saturday night in an intimate and warm space with friends at a table and a bottle of local red and some cruisy style laid back tunes with a story or two to be shared.

Well I’d book ya selves a ticket for Sat night 26th May at Art of Espresso because we are doing for the first time a limited seated number of 20 only Tix!!

We will have tables and seating available unlike previous gigs.

Why?

David Ross Macdonald of The Waifs will be performing a selection of his cool laid back tunes coupled with some campfire stories and songs to match.

It’s just like hanging with a bunch of ya coolest mates only no need to clean up after.

David is better known as the chilled drummer of The Waifs with a sweet soul to match and I’ve had the pleasure of seeing David live and let me say it was a memorable gig for all the good vibes and heartwarming reasons.

Davids  vocals, lyrics and intricate fingerstyle guitar is likened to a collaboration between Nick Drake and mid 1970s feel.

He deals in subtlety, intimacy and nuance with a tunesmiths hand that coins songs and music with a haunting and poignant quality.

Armed with only his 1935 Gibson guitar and a carpet bag of songs he will warm the intimate surrounds at Art of Espresso with an intense and poetic style.

Tix are only $20 and you are guaranteed a comfortable evening of good vibes, tunes and salt of the earth stories.
